Step-by-Step Execution Guide

1

Hold barbell at arm's length in front of thighs with shoulder-width grip.

2

Elevate shoulders straight up towards ears as high as possible.

3

Squeeze traps at peak contraction for 1 full second.

4

Lower bar slowly under complete control.

Common Mistakes & Form Fixes

Rolling shoulders in circles (can damage rotator cuff).

Jerking with knees.

Biomechanical Safety & Injury Warning

Move only up and down; avoid rolling shoulders.
