How to Execute the Seated Hip Abductor Machine

Sit in machine with pads resting against outside of knees, back supported. Push knees outward against resistance as far as possible.

Step-by-Step Execution Guide

1

Sit in machine with pads resting against outside of knees, back supported.

2

Push knees outward against resistance as far as possible.

3

Hold peak expansion for 1 second, control back slowly.

Common Mistakes & Form Fixes

Slamming weight stack.

Leaning too far forward.

Biomechanical Safety & Injury Warning

Controlled tempo yields superior gluteus medius activation.
